Over the weekend, the ROCKET was called into action for several critical missions:
A 61-year-old male in the Davel area, suffering from a severe trauma-related condition, and requiring specialized surgery and care. Our team, together with paramedics from a road-based emergency service, stabilized the patient at the scene before transporting him by air to a facility in Johannesburg.
A 62-year-old female with a cardiac condition was airlifted from Lephalale to a facility in Johannesburg to receive ongoing treatment and care.
In Prieska, a 69-year-old patient was stabilized at the scene and then airlifted to a cardiac facility in Kimberley for further diagnostics and care.
ROCKET 1, was activated for an inter-facility transfer of a young patient in Vryburg with a serious medical condition. The patient was airlifted to a specialized facility in Klerksdorp for further treatment and care.
