Our Gauteng and Northern Cape bases were activated on various ROCKET missions to provide urgent, specialised care to patients across the country during the week.
After presenting with a Cerebral Vascular Accident in the Randfontein area, a 60-year-old female patient was stabilized on scene before being airlifted to a Johannesburg specialised facility.
In Prieska, 77-year-old female presented with a cardiac condition and was airlifted to Kimberley for further treatment.
An injured 24-year-old man was airlifted to a Johannesburg facility with a severe head injury after being involved in a motor vehicle accident near Bronkhorstspruit.
An on-duty 23-year-old male patient who was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the Jagersfontein area was stabilized and airlifted to a specialized facility in Kimberley for further treatment.
A 41-year-old male patient that had sustained multiple gunshot wounds was airlifted from a facility in the East Rand to a specialised facility in Johannesburg for ongoing care.
